To give frameless cabinetry more strength, KraftMaid increased the thickness of the sides, top and bottom. Venicia’s construction stands up to KraftMaid’s toughest standards for quality and craftsmanship.
 
With frameless construction, the fame face is eliminates. With this KraftMaid by Venicia frameless construction maximizes storage space and access, while providing a clean, uniform appearance. Remember, because of Venicia’s innovative construction, door styles and cabinet boxes are unique to this collection and cannot be mixed and matched with other KraftMaid cabinetry.

  • End Panels ¾” Easy Clean, melamine-clad, engineered wood end panels with matching edge banding.
  • Floors & Tops ¾” doweled, Easy Clean, melamine-clad engineered wood. (vertical center Venicia Interior Cabinet Construcionsupport column present in all wall and base cabinets 39” or wider.)
  • Backs 1/8” nonporous, vinyl-clad back panels
  • Hanging Rails 5/8” engineered wood, concealed, doweled and glued to end panels.
  • Braces ¾” engineered wood stabilizing stretchers.
  • Hinges 120 degree extra-wide opening, fully concealed, self-closing hinges, with quick release and 6-way adjustability. 
  • Interiors & Exteriors Featuring Easy Clean, matte melamine surfaces with “blended” interiors and exteriors to coordinate with doors and drawer fronts; complementary black cabinet box standard for Tygris Gloss and gray cabinets box for Steel Gloss and all Mirra door styles.
  • Shelf Rest Easily adjustable chrome shelf rests feature pins that hold shelves securely.
  • Shelves ¾” melamine-clad, engineered wood with vinyl edge banding; full depth and fully adjustable.
  • Drawers ¾” solid hardwood, 4 sided dovetail drawer box with 3/16” plywood floor and natural finish; optional contempo gray metal drawer box available.
  • Drawer Suspensions Wood Drawers: Ball bearing action undermount standard; full extension and full extension with buffer closing system available. Contempo Drawers: Full extension with buffer closing system.
